NIGFBA End Of Season Tournament

Date: Mar 12-16, 2008

Where: Libertyville Sports Complex

The "End of Season" tournament is a weekend of fun and basketball to give our players an opportunity to play for the league championship as well as take part in other activities. There will will two tournament brackets (Championship and Friendship) for grades 6-8 and a Championship bracket for the 5th grade. Additionally there will be a "3-Point" and "Spot" shooting contests and the NIGFBA All-Star game.

Tournament Brackets

The tournament seeding places an emphasis on cross-divisional play while still maintaining to the true spirit of a championship tournament. This year the 6th - 8th grades will have 2 separate tournament brackets; Championship and Friendship. The Championship bracket matches the teams in places 1st through 4th in each division while Friendship bracket will have the remaining teams. The 5th will have a Championship bracket with all 5th grade teams. Again the seeding places a greater emphasis on cross-divisional play than a strict 1-to-n ranking.
